First Green Partners, headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, was founded in 2011 and is an enterprise focused on commercializing early-stage technologies in the carbon value chain. First Green is led by co-president Doug Cameron, former chief science officer at Khosla Ventures, and co-president Tom Erickson, a venture capitalist in the technology space. First Green invests in early-stage companies that focus on developing methods to convert renewable carbon to fuels and chemicals, and applications of clean or green technologies in the conventional energy process also known as the “green-black technologies."
