TMT Team Hosts 14th Annual Technology Conference
Warburg Pincus' Technology, Media and Telecommunications professionals recently hosted its annual Technology Conference in San Francisco. More than 100 members of the Warburg Pincus network gathered at the St. Regis hotel to discuss novel technologies and development in the Web 2.0 sphere and to hear remarks by presenters including Alfred Chuang, BEA Systems; Marissa Mayer, Vice President of Search Products and User Experience at Google; Hal Varian, UC Berkeley; Jon Miller, CEO of USA Information and Services and former Chairman and CEO of AOL; and Paul Maritz, CEO of Pi Corp.
"Every year, the Technology Conference provides an opportunity to meet with key technology executives to discuss recent trends and key drivers in the industry," said Patrick T. Hackett and James A. Neary, co-heads of Warburg Pincus' global TMT practice. "This year we had an extraordinary line-up of speakers who provided insight into broad technology themes as well as the opportunities and challenges related to Web 2.0."
