Chang Q. Sun is responsible for the firm’s investment activities in China and North Asia. He was an Executive Director in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs (Asia) before joining Warburg Pincus in 1995. He received a B.A. from the Beijing Foreign Languages University, an M.A. from the Joseph Lauder Institute of International Management at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School. Mr. Sun is the founding Chairman of the China Venture Capital Association and the founder and Vice Chairman of the China Real Estate Developers and Investors Association. He is a director of EnerChina Holdings Limited, Gome Electrical Appliance and Harbin Pharmaceutical Group.
