James R. Levy is based in New York, joined Warburg Pincus in 2006 and focuses on energy investments. Previously, he worked at Kohlberg & Company, a middle-market private equity investment firm, and Wasserstein Perella & Co. He is a director of Black Swan Energy, EnStorage, Hawkwood Energy, Laredo Petroleum Holdings and Suniva, and also works with Antero Resources. Additionally, he is a former director of Broad Oak Energy. Mr. Levy received a B.A. in History from Yale University.
