Adri Baan has held a series of senior positions with Royal Philips Electronics in Europe and North America. From 1998-2001, Mr. Baan served as Executive Vice President of Royal Philips Electronics and was a member of the company’s Board of Management. He also was Chief Executive Officer of Philips Consumer Electronics. Previously, he served as Chief Executive Office of Philips Business Electronics after working as a Managing Director of the same division. Prior to that, Mr. Baan was an Executive Vice President of Asea Brown Boveri (ABB). Mr. Baan is currently the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Wolters Kluwer NV, Chairman of VolkerWessels N.V., Chairman of Dockwise Ltd. and also serves as a member of the Supervisory Boards of OCE NV and Imtech NV, the University of Amsterdam and Amsterdam Medical Center. He also is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Authority Financial Markets in the Netherlands.
Mr. Baan has a Masters degree in Physics from the University of Amsterdam and has completed the Stanford Executive Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
