Harald Joos was until March 2009 CEO at Demag Cranes AG, one of the world’s biggest providers of cranes and port technology. Mr. Joos has more than 25 years’ experience in the industrial sector and previously served as CEO of Andreas Stihl AG & Co. KG, a leading manufacturer of chain saws. He has also held various positions at Schindler Group and IMB Deutschland GmbH. In 1996, Mr. Joos became a non-executive board member of Deutsche Bank AG and in 1999, joined the Board of Berliner Volksbank e.G. He is also Chairman of Gottwald Port Technology GmbH. Mr. Joos holds a degree in Aeronautic Engineering from the University of Stuttgart.
