Sharmila Baichoo joined Warburg Pincus as general manager of portfolio management operations in Mauritius in 2008. Ms. Baichoo holds a B. Com. in accounting and business management from the University of South Africa and is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Ms. Baichoo was chief examiner at the Mauritius Financial Services Commission and previously worked at Multiconsult Ltd as a supervisor in company administration.
