Kewsong Lee leads Warburg Pincus’ leveraged buy-out and special situations efforts. He also helps drive the firm’s capital markets activities and financial services efforts. Previously Mr. Lee, who joined Warburg Pincus in 1992, was a consultant with McKinsey & Company. He also worked at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Lee received an A.B. in applied mathematics in economics from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He is a director of The Neiman Marcus Group, Arch Capital Group, Aramark, TransDigm, Knoll and MBIA. Actively involved with Harvard University, he is the Co-Chair of his Class Gift Steering Committee and a Member of the Faculty of Arts and Science Task Force on Academic Planning.
