Nicholas J. Lowcock leads the firm’s healthcare investing activities in Europe. Mr. Lowcock was with the Boston Consulting Group before he joined Warburg Pincus in 1994. He previously worked in the pharmaceutical industry in the United Kingdom. Mr. Lowcock received a B.A. (first class) in experimental psychology from Oxford University and an M.B.A. with distinction from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the board of trustees of Project Hope U.K., a charity devoted to improving healthcare in developing nations. Mr. Lowcock is a director of Archimedes, Eurand and Euromedic.
