Julian Cheng is based in Hong Kong, joined Warburg Pincus in 2000 and focuses on technology, media and education companies in China and other parts of Asia. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Mr. Cheng worked in investment banking with Salomon Smith Barney and Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong. He is a director of 58.com, Beijing Tianyu, DHgate, RDA Microelectronics and Xueda Education. Mr. Cheng holds a B.A. from Harvard University.
