Adarsh Sarma joined Warburg Pincus in 2005 where he focuses on business services and financial technology investments. Prior to joining the firm, he was a principal at ChrysCapital, a $2 billion private equity fund focused on India. Previously, Mr. Sarma was vice president of strategic alliances at Radiowave, a technology start-up funded by Warburg Pincus, Intel and Motorola. Prior to that, he worked at McCown De Leeuw, a leveraged buy-out fund and at Merrill Lynch & Co. He received a B.A. from Knox College, Phi Beta Kappa, and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. Mr. Sarma is a director of Metavante Technologies (NYSE:MV), Bridgepoint Education (NYSE:BPI), MLM Information Services and Wall Street Systems.
