James Neary has been with Warburg Pincus since 2000 and co-heads the Technology, Media and Telecommunications group. From 2000 to 2004, Mr. Neary led the firm’s Capital Markets activities. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Chase Securities and was in the Leveraged Finance Group at Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Neary received a B.A. in economics and political science from Tufts University and an M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, where he was the Eugene Lerner Finance Scholar. He is a director of Metavante Technologies, Integra Telecommunications, Coyote Logistics, Fortent and Telmar.
