Stewart J. Hen joined Warburg Pincus in 2000. He focuses on investments in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hen was a consultant at McKinsey & Company. Previously, he held positions at Merck in both Research & Development and Manufacturing. Mr. Hen holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School, an M.S. in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Delaware. Mr. Hen is a director of Alita Pharmaceuticals, Allos Therapeutics, Altus Pharmaceuticals, Ganic Pharmaceuticals, Neurogen Corporation and Rib-X Pharmaceuticals. He also serves on the Health Care & Sciences Group of the New York City Investment Fund.
