In Seon Hwang joined the energy group of Warburg Pincus in 2004. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hwang worked at GSC Partners, a firm focused on distressed investing. Previously, he worked in the M&A group at Goldman Sachs, and prior to that at Boston Consulting Group. He graduated from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in economics, and from Harvard Business School with an M.B.A. He is a director of CoalTek, Competitive Power Ventures and Targa Resources, and is an investment committee member of Sheridan Production Partners.
