Joel Ackerman has been with Warburg Pincus since 1993. He focuses on the firm’s investment activities in healthcare services. Mr. Ackerman received a B.A. in physics from Columbia University and an M.A. in physics from Harvard University. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, he was with Mercer Management Consulting. Mr. Ackerman is a director of CCS Medical, ChartOne, Coventry Health Care, Medical Staffing Network, Salick Cardiovascular Centers and Spheris.
