Steve Coates is based in London, joined Warburg Pincus in 2003 and focuses on the firm’s European consumer, industrial and services activities with an emphasis on industrial and consumer markets. Previously, Mr. Coates worked at Permira. He is a director of Clondalkin Group, Poundland and Survitec. Mr. Coates received an M.A. in politics, philosophy and economics from Oxford University, is a chartered accountant and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
