Steve Coates focuses on the firm’s European CIS activities with a particular emphasis on industrial and consumer markets. He joined Warburg Pincus in 2003 from Permira. Mr. Coates received an M.A. in politics, philosophy and economics from Oxford University, is a chartered accountant and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. He is a director of Clondalkin Group, Poundland and Survitec.
