Peter R. Kagan has been with Warburg Pincus since 1997 and is the head of the firm’s energy team. Mr. Kagan received an A.B. degree cum laude from Harvard College and J.D. and M.B.A. degrees with honors from the University of Chicago. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, he worked in investment banking at Salomon Brothers in both New York and Hong Kong. Mr. Kagan is a director of Antero Resources, Canbriam Energy, China CBM, Fairfield Energy, Laredo, MEG Energy and Targa Resources. In addition, he is a member of the Visiting Committee of the University of Chicago Law School and a member of the Board of Directors of Resources for the Future.
