Peter R. Kagan has been with Warburg Pincus since 1997. He co-leads the firm's investment activities in energy and natural resources and is a member of the Executive Management Group. Mr. Kagan received an A.B. degree cum laude from Harvard College and J.D. and M.B.A. degrees with honors from the University of Chicago. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, he worked in investment banking at Salomon Brothers in both New York and Hong Kong. Mr. Kagan is currently on the Board of Directors of Antero Resources, Broad Oak Energy, Fairfield Energy, Laredo Petroleum, MEG Energy, Targa Resources and Targa Resources Partners L.P. In addition, he is a member of the Visiting Committee of the University of Chicago Law School, and a member of the Board of Directors of Resources for the Future.
