Joseph Schull is a Special Limited Partner for Warburg Pincus. He joined Warburg Pincus in 1998 and led the firm’s investing activities in Europe from 2010 through to 2015. Previously he led the firm’s technology, media and telecommunication group in Europe as well as its investment activities in Emerging Europe. He has been involved in Warburg Pincus investments in software and technology-enabled services, B2B and information services, cable television and broadband services and digital media. He is currently a Director of IPAN and also serves as a Board Advisor to Blue Yonder.
Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Mr. Schull was Deputy Director of the International Affairs program at the Ford Foundation. He holds a B.A. and M.A. from McGill University, Canada where he studied politics, philosophy and economics. Mr. Schull also received a D. Phil. from Oxford University, where he was University Lecturer from 1990 to 1991.
