Timothy J. Curt is a member of our Accounting Department where he assists with management of international investment structures and technology initiatives. From 2003 to 2014, Mr. Curt served as the firm’s chief financial officer. Prior to joining the firm in 1998, he was a tax partner with Ernst & Young and a member of its mergers and acquisitions services group. Mr. Curt, a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant, received a B.S. in accounting from the University of Connecticut and an M.S. in taxation from Pace University. He is Treasurer of the National Venture Capital Association and is a member of the Private Company Council, which is the primary advisory body to FASB on US GAAP accounting for private companies. Mr. Curt is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ task force on Private Equity and Venture Capital.
