Chang Q. Sun is based in Hong Kong, joined Warburg Pincus in 1995 and is responsible for the firm’s investment activities in China and North Asia. Mr. Sun also is a member of the firm’s executive management group. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Sun was an executive director in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs (Asia). He is the founder and currently vice chairman of the China Venture Capital Association (CVCA) and the founder and vice chairman of the China Real Estate Developers and Investors Association. He is also a board member of the China Board of the Nature Conservancy. Mr. Sun received a B.A. from the Beijing Foreign Languages University, an M.A. from the Joseph Lauder Institute of International Management at the University of Pennsylvania, and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
