Ed Trissel is based in New York, joined Warburg Pincus in 2011 and leads the firm's communications and marketing efforts. He is also a member of the firm's environmental, social and governance committee. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Trissel was a managing director at Joele Frank, Wilkinson Brimmer Katcher, a financial public relations firm, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions communications, crisis and issues management, investor relations and ongoing corporate communications for clients across a wide variety of sectors. Mr. Trissel’s experience includes serving as a founding principle at Vistance Group, a corporate and financial communications advisory, and senior roles at the international public relations firms, Hill & Knowlton and Ketchum. He received a Bachelor of Journalism at The University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Trissel has lectured on various communications topics at The University of Texas at Austin and New York University.
