Charles Carmel is based in San Francisco, joined Warburg Pincus in 2011 and focuses in the enterprise IT and communications infrastructure sectors. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Mr. Carmel was vice president and head of corporate development at Cisco where he led a global team responsible for driving Cisco's worldwide acquisition and venture capital strategy. He previously worked at Goldman Sachs in the technology investment banking group. Mr. Carmel received a B.A. from Tufts University and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
