Adarsh Sarma is based in New York, joined Warburg Pincus in 2005 and focuses on education, financial technology and business services investments. Prior to joining the firm, he was a principal at ChrysCapital, an Indian private equity fund. Previously, Mr. Sarma was vice president of strategic alliances at Radiowave, a technology start-up funded by Warburg Pincus, Intel and Motorola. Prior to that, he worked at McCown De Leeuw, a leveraged buyout fund. Mr. Sarma is currently a director of Alert Global Media, Bridgepoint Education, Liaison International, Stratford School and is a Board Observer of InComm Holdings. He also serves on the Pratham Tri-State Board, a not-for-profit organization. Mr. Sarma received a B.A. from Knox College, Phi Beta Kappa, and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
