In Seon Hwang is based in New York, joined Warburg Pincus in 2004 and focuses on energy investments. Previously, he worked at GSC Partners, a distressed investment firm, and prior to that in the mergers and acquisitions group at Goldman Sachs and at the Boston Consulting Group. Mr. Hwang received a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He is a director of CASA Exploration, Competitive Power Ventures Holdings, Gulf Coast Energy Resources, Omega Energia Renovavel S.A., Targa Resources Partners and Venari Resources, and he is an investment committee member of Sheridan Production Partners.
