Based in Jersey, United Kingdom, Resolution II buys, develops and
manages commercial investment properties in the U.K. and in Continental
Europe. The company focuses on purchasing and holding complex
properties that can be improved over time by active management or
redevelopment. Warburg Pincus extended a $200 million “line-of-equity”
to Resolution II. The company was founded by Robert Laurence and
Warburg Pincus as a successor entity to Resolution Group (Jersey)
Limited. Prior to starting Resolution I, Robert Laurence was one of
three senior executives at Argent Group plc, a previous Warburg Pincus
portfolio company.
