TransDigm is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered, proprietary aircraft components that are used on nearly all modern commercial and military aircraft platforms. The Company's major product lines include pumps, ignition system components, mechanical controls and actuators, engineered connectors, NiCad batteries and chargers, lavatory components and overhead bin latches. Warburg Pincus invested in TransDigm in 2003. The Cleveland-based company completed an IPO in 2006.
