An integrated supplier of building materials and construction related products based in Singapore. Hong Leong Asia is mainly engaged in three businesses: (a) manufacturing of pre-cast concrete elements; (b) production of ready mixed concrete and quarry products; and (c) trading and distribution of steel and cement. The company is controlled by the Hong Leong Corporation, a private holding company substantially controlled by Singaporeís Kwek family. Warburg Pincus invested in Hong Leong Asia in 1998 in conjunction with the company's listing on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
