Founded in 1994, Mingfa (HKSE: 0846.HK ) is focused on the development of large-scale, multifunctional commercial complexes in China. The company has a land bank of 14 million square meters across 39 projects in 14 cities. The company initially focused on residential projects and gradually shifted to developing retail areas in response to strong demand. In late 2007, the company completed Xiamen Mingfa Shopping Mall, a 400,000 square meter retail complex located in central Xiamen, which has become one of the leading malls in Fujian Province.
