Harbin Dongfang Zhonghe, formerly known as Dumpling King, is a leading casual dining restaurant chain in the Northern China region operating more than restaurants in eight cities across four provinces. Its dining concept centers around a large selection of hand-made dumplings, complemented by appetizers and entrees from the Northeastern region of China. With an average spend per customer of approximately RMB35 (or 5 USD), the company offers a highly affordable dining experience. It was founded in 1993 by restaurant industry veteran Mr. MA Hongbo and his brother in Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang, the northernmost province in China.
