MACH, based in Luxembourg and Denmark, is an outsourcing company in the
communications services area. It is the leading global clearing house
of roaming billing records for mobile network operators. The company’s
primary services include core GSM roaming clearing and related
value-added services. Other services include Electronic Data
Interchange and Interconnect clearing. MACH is continuing to build on
its leading position in mobile clearing and exploiting the outsourcing
trend within mobile operators to extend the reach of its current
services, in addition to developing new service propositions to address
emerging areas, such as mobile data. The company delivers a global
offering through 10 international offices, supporting MACH’s customer
base of more than 400 mobile operators. The investment in MACH was
facilitated by Warburg Pincus' significant crossover domain expertise
in Communications and Business Services. Warburg Pincus acquired MACH
in August 2005.
