Asian American Gas is a China-based leading coal bed methane (CBM) producer. Through long-term production sharing contracts, AAG has interests in two large blocks, Panzhuang and Mabi, and over the past several years, the company has successfully applied modern drilling techniques to dramatically improve production efficiency and recovery factors.
The management team is led by Founder Steve Zou, who has over 30 years of experience in the Chinese coal and CBM fields.
Warburg Pincus invested in AAG in March 2010.
