Clondalkin manufactures and distributes its products through 9 major business units throughout Europe and North America.
Warburg Pincus acquired Clondalkin in March 2004. During Warburg Pincus’ ownership, the company has continued its evolution to a focused value-added packaging group, through a combination of organic growth and accretive acquisitions. The Company’s acquisition activity during our investment period, including the Catalent acquisition completed in 2011, has focused on building up the pharma and healthcare packaging operations, which now represent almost half of Group EBITDA.
