Alliance Tire Group develops and manufactures a wide range of off-highway tires, primarily catering to agricultural, construction and earth-moving applications. Warburg Pincus partnered with an experienced management team in early 2007 to fund the initial acquisition of Israel-based Alliance Tire Company and the subsequent development of a greenfi eld, low-cost manufacturing facility in India. In late 2009, Warburg Pincus invested additional capital to fund the strategic acquisition of the off-highway tire assets of U.S.-based GPX Corporation. Today, Alliance has development and design centers in Israel, India, and the U.S., with manufacturing facilities in Israel and India, and its tires are available across 120 countries on 6 continents.
