First Green Partners is a Minneapolis, Minnesota-based company focused on commercializing early-stage technologies in the carbon value chain. The company invests in early-stage companies that focus on developing methods to convert renewable carbon, such as nonfood biomass and carbon dioxide, to fuels and chemicals and applications of clean or green technologies in the conventional energy process also known as the “green-black technologies."
The management team is led by Co-President Doug Cameron, former Chief Science Officer at Khosla Ventures, and Co-President Tom Erickson, a venture capitalist in the technology space.
Warburg Pincus led a line of equity financing to First Green in December 2011.
