Venari Resources LLC is a Dallas, Texas-based oil and gas exploration company focused on the deepwater Gulf of Mexico. The company’s strategy is to utilize advanced seismic technology to find large hydrocarbon deposits in the subsalt Miocene area of the deepwater Gulf of Mexico.
The management team is led by Brian Reinsborough, who was previously President of Nexen USA, where he built the company’s deepwater Gulf of Mexico business.
Warburg Pincus led a line of equity financing to Venari in May 2012.
