Ash SomaniManaging Director, Co-Head of San Francisco Office

Ashutosh Somani is based in San Francisco, joined Warburg Pincus in 2007, and co-leads the firm’s San Francisco office. He focuses on investments in the software and payments sectors and oversees technology investments in Brazil. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Ash worked as an investment professional at Audax Group and as a Consultant at McKinsey & Company. He is actively involved with the firm’s investment in PayJoy and is a Director of Duetto and Bloomerang. Ash received an SB and MEng from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar.
