Christopher H. Turner joined Warburg Pincus in 2005 to lead the capital markets effort and is currently the firm’s Chief Administrative Officer. In this role, he manages the firm’s Investment Support Group comprising Capital Markets, Marketing and Communications, Public Policy/ESG, Information Technology Strategy and Assessment, Shared Services, and Leadership/Organizational Effectiveness. He also oversees the firm’s Human Resources Management, internal IT services, and other staff functions and is a member of the firm’s Executive Management Group. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Mr. Turner was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Turner is a member of the JDRF International Board of Directors, where he serves as Chair of the Investment Committee, and of the Council on Foreign Relations, where he serves on the Committee on Corporate Affairs. He has lectured at Columbia Business School and the Wharton School on Private Equity and Corporate Finance. He received a B.S. from Cornell University and an M.B.A. in Finance from The Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.
